If your NIBA membership is current and up to date, you will not be turned away.
A coalition between Working Waterfront, led by Ellen Wax, CCA represented by Corky Collier, several members of NIBA’s board, and reps from NWDA have been working directly with every city council member including the mayor to discuss the proposed MP2H proposal. In a couple of weeks, we meet with Commissioner Ryan to educate/inform him of our position. While the development has a potentially profound impact on the NW industrial district, it may not be a topic that commands a ton of attention, especially when there are more pressing issues/ problems at hand. However, the fact that we as an organization are sitting at the table with city leaders on a consistent basis as of late is important for members to recognize that we are having our NIBA voice being heard.
