WHAT: City of Portland Government Transition
GUEST SPEAKER: Lory Hefele - Co-chair of the Government Transition Advisory Committee for the City of Portland.
 

September's meeting.


Lory spoke about her role on the Government Transition Advisory Committee, responsible for ensuring the charter amendments approved by voters are implemented efficiently and effectively and providing community engagement and education for this work.   She spoke about what the charter change includes, and the current status and answered any questions regarding staying involved and informed with this historic transition to the City of Portland's new form of government over the next 18 months.
