The meeting will include speakers from PBOT and ODOT who will lead discussions on their roles in upcoming projects in the NIBA area and answer questions related to how they operate and assist with city and state transportation for our area and state.

About the Friendly House
Friendly House creates a thriving community by connecting people of all ages and backgrounds through quality educational, recreational and other life-sustaining services. Friendly House, a 21st century settlement house, engages people to create a compassionate, equitable and inclusive society. Friendly House is located in the heart of Northwest Portland and engages community to support everyone.
About Mya Chamberlain.
Mya Chamberlain is the executive director for the friendly house. Mya Chamberlin grew up in NW Portland where she attended Friendly House's Preschool in the 1970’s. Mya maintained her ties to the organization as a teen, where she worked as a volunteer, and returned to Friendly House in the mid-90's to work as a teacher in the after-school program.
This grant provides financial reimbursement support for small businesses within Portland that have eligible exterior, ground-level, storefront expenses related to break-ins or vandalism.
Graffiti Removal Assistance
The Graffiti Program offers no-cost or reduced-cost graffiti removal assistance to residents, small businesses, and nonprofit organizations who meet eligibility criteria. Removal assistance includes painting and/or power washing surfaces, it does not include acid-etched glass or graffiti on vehicles.
Who qualifies?
Anyone impacted by hate graffiti and most gang graffiti.
Small businesses with 1-10 employees (cannot be a corporate franchise).
Any single-family home, condo or apartment buildings with 1-10 units.
Nonprofit organizations; excluding nonprofit organizations with more than 100 employees.
The City of Portland provides no-cost or reduced-cost graffiti removal assistance to anyone impacted by hate graffiti and most gang graffiti, small businesses (10 employees or less), small nonprofit organizations (100 employees or less) and houses, condos, or apartment buildings with 1-10 units. Applicants must submit their completed application to graffiti@portlandoregon.gov.
The kit includes cleaning solvent, gloves, safety glasses, cleaning rag, small nylon scraper, small bucket, and a link to an instructional video. To request your kit, email graffiti@portlandoregon.gov
