Portland, Oregon - October 2, 2023 - Get ready to embark on a delicious adventure as the 82nd Avenue Business Association proudly presents the annual " Around the World in 82 Dishes" event, a culinary celebration that promises to tantalize your taste buds and take you on a flavorful journey down 82nd Avenue on Portland’s East Side.
Event Highlights
● Kickoff 5k Fun Run/Walk: Lace up your sneakers and join us on October 21st, 2023, for a 5k run/walk that begins and ends at the newly rebranded Springwater Cart Park, formerly known as Cartlandia. For just a $5 fun run admission fee, you'll receive a dining passport that opens the door to a world of flavors along 82nd Avenue.
● Discounted Food and Drinks: For an additional $5, fun run participants can get tickets for discounted food and drinks exclusively available at the Springwater Cart Park, setting the stage for an exciting culinary experience.
● Passport Stamps and Prizes: Over the course of three weekends, participants will collect stamps on their food passports by dining at the diverse food and beverage establishments lining 82nd Avenue. The more stamps you collect, the closer you get to earning exclusive prizes and numerous discounts.
● Special Saturday Events: Every Saturday between October 21st and November 5th, we'll host unique gatherings at dining destinations on 82nd with exclusive stamp opportunities and special prizes, making each weekend a memorable experience.
● Extended Passport Program: If you can't collect all your stamps before November 5th, don't worry! The passport program will extend into 2024 as we continue to build our 82nd Avenue Passport Program and introduce more exciting prizes.
